The Nice Network comprises 35 partner institutions that are located in the Enlarged Europe, North Africa and Asia. The members of this network are highly committed to the Bologna and Lisbon conventions. They subscribe to a jointly agreed Quality Charter which ensures that all members accept and implement the ECTS quality standards in their institutions.

The network was founded in 1992 at the IPAG (Institut de Préparation à l’Administration et à la Gestion) and has continually grown over the past two decades. Its members meet annually to exchange ideas, develop joint curricula, conduct multilateral research programmes and forge long-term partnerships for their students. Many co-operating institutions have signed mutual agreements (student and staff exchange, joint projects and programmes). Genuine partnerships have emerged from this network and several EU-funded projects have been successfully completed (see: Interpersonal and Intercultural Competence for the Enlarged Europe (IICEE)).
